$MG8 is the governance token utilized throughout all the games and dApps on the MEGALINK platform. It's subtly designed for sustainable supply and demand with NFT integration, focusing on motivating gamers and token holders in a well-balanced circulating system.
$MG8 offers a democratic governance model, allowing token holders to influence platform and game development. It's also vital for value accrual within the growing ecosystem, increasing demand and potential benefits for holders.
In Web3 gaming, a key issue is attracting speculators, causing token supply inflation. $MG8 addresses this with one in-game currency model, decoupling value accrual and exchange, ensuring token value aligns with platform success. In many games, large amounts of microtransactions occur daily through the distribution of digital content. In the MEGALINK ecosystem, $MG8 can be used for various microtransactions both inside and outside the game. $MG8 will play a significant role as the primary currency throughout the entire MEGALINK ecosystem.
$MG8 holders can participate in MEGALINK decision-making through decentralized governance. Proposals may include voting on changes in the inflation rate through staking, financial usage, and decisions on which contracts to build, among others.
Participants can receive staking rewards during the governance participation process. Those who stake a certain amount of $MG8 can become validators.
