Main Network

MEGALINK has adopted a multi-layer approach to enhance blockchain scalability without compromising existing security and decentralization. By using a multi-layer approach, it addresses the blockchain trilemma (the triple trade-off) and stores transaction data in Layer2 (off-chain), thereby resolving storage scalability issues in Layer1.

Among the multi-layer approaches, it utilizes ZK (Zero-Knowledge) proofs to verify upper-layer data in Layer1 while maintaining security. It supports various consensus algorithms (PoS, PoA, PoW, PoD) and offers scalability solutions that can be varied based on compatibility, speed, and cost priorities.

Bridge

It is a system that facilitates smooth asset and data transfer between different blockchains, enabling diverse interactions between the blockchain ecosystem and apps. This system helps users securely move assets from one blockchain to another by locking the assets on one blockchain and issuing the same assets on the target blockchain. Through asset mapping, these assets are accurately tracked on each blockchain and assigned unique identifiers for management.

The decentralized community that maintains and secures these connections between blockchains offers governance incentives to ensure security and reliability. This enhances user trust when making cross-blockchain transfers.

SSI

Self-Sovereign Identity (SSI) is a trust-based system that allows individuals to prove their identity without relying on a centralized service provider by storing digital identities in blockchain wallets. We are developing Verifiable Credentials (VC) and Verifiable Presentations (VP) for DID issuance and verification.

Within the platform, SSI technology is utilized to issue and authenticate verifiable credentials for assets (such as NFTs) and to rent or transfer characters, assets, and more within Web3 games. These credentials (e.g., rental certificates, staking certificates) can be used as collateral assets.

MPC

Multi-Party Computation (MPC) technology provides cryptographic protocols that allow multiple parties to perform computations without sharing data or keys. This technology enables secure private key storage, ensuring safety even if one separated key is compromised and allowing recovery in case of key loss. It helps maintain the security of private keys and sensitive data while preventing data loss.
